The Fintiba Blueprint: When will they actually bother to respond to an email

Ways to get attention from Fintiba for those who are in urgent need of a reply:

Try to leave comments on their Instagram accounts and also on Reddit or Facebook. At the same time, call them as much as you can so you get their attention. They mostly reply on Friday during the last hours so they can chill for the two days, and then the next week you have to wait. In the middle of the week, if you get lucky, they might answer your call. This is the price for an international student just to get an update on their account, even though you paid their subscription fee and are only asking for your own money and statements. I will make it my life mission to tell everyone to never register with FINTIBA EVER AGAIN.

Fintiba heartless service — math correct, but they keep asking for €86

Dear Fintiba Team,

I do not understand why you treat your customers like this. I had issues with my passport number last Friday. It took you two weeks to reply, and while I understand you take two days off, I have an embassy appointment coming up. You have no idea how pissed off I am. Looking at reviews, it’s clear you are immensely heartless and seem to be doing this on purpose.

I transferred an extra €800 to my account. After 15 days, I finally got the “source of funds” email to confirm, which I did. But then I was told I was €132 short. I transferred that too. Now this morning, you say I need to add another €86. That means I’ll have to wait another 15 days for source confirmation again. Why? For what reason?

Do the math:

  • Monthly blocked amount = €992 × 12 = €11,904
  • Initial fee = €89
  • Buffer deposit = €100 Total = €12,093

And what is €86 for?

Fintiba ignoring urgent support request — risking my visa appointment

I’ve been waiting five days for Fintiba to respond and this delay is directly putting my upcoming German visa appointment at risk.

My blocked account balance is fully updated and I already uploaded a PDF copy of my new passport to my profile. Yet my account details still haven’t been updated, and my new passport number hasn’t been added to my visa documents.

I asked them to process this profile update immediately and release my updated Visa Blocking Confirmation (Sperrbestätigung) so I can print it for my embassy appointment.

Five days later still nothing. For a service that charges high fees and claims to support international students, this kind of silence is unacceptable.
