Is jazz piano a rough place to start with piano overall?

Hi!! I just started piano recently. I’ve loved it since I was a kid but never had the opportunity to play. I enjoy a lot of video game music and most recently the persona (five) soundtrack which is loosely jazz inspired.

I’ve started with a teacher and she’s teaching me jazz piano but I can’t help but feel a bit overwhelmed. A lot of improvisation just feels like I’m doing anything and not retaining what i’m doing with it.

I live in New Orleans, jazz surrounds me daily! I enjoy it a lot but on the learning end I feel dizzy. I’m unsure if I should keep with it. I’ve only been playing piano now for a few weeks.

VIP ticket

I bought a vip ticket for one of the shows. (My first vip purchase) I have the confirmation email. Will another email be sent later on with a barcode or something to enter the venue?

Is liz lisa inflation still high? Looking into himekaji

I’ve been avoiding looking at any jfashion drops since the tariffs started rolling in. I’m a few years into wearing jirai kei and have a decent closet but with summer rolling around it makes it a bit hard to wear it.

I live in a very humid state so I want something more lighter. I love the look of a lot of himekaji coords. I just scrolled past a liz lisa dress from the 2000s which was priced at near 300. I thought by now the trend would’ve died down some with the scalpers and such. Are these clothes still at a high point? If so is it worth it trying to find a footing in the fashion?

How is circa’s songwriting so unique?

I apologize if this is a loaded question

I know songwriters pull inspiration from their lives and challenges etc. But specifically how things are written out feels so unique to me.

I can’t find a way to describe it as anything else other than vague. Lazarus feels direct song being placed in first person pov compared to something like the second half of in fear and faith or house of leaves.

I really love the end of sleep well singing about a vengeful god and faithless ones. As well as the end of the amulet having such interesting word choices.

Was there any interviews which went over their process of songwriting and such?
