Nanny goat

Polymer clay head, jointed faux fur body, felt horns and hooves, alpaca hair facial hair, scrap fabric.

Visited a petting zoo and couldn't get goats out of my head...

I was inspired by other art doll artists, namely Agatha Black and Annie Montgomery. Follow my art Instagram @gabgardeart.

Need to press the trousers and waistcoat again. Made three tam o' shanters over the weekend for some reason. The waistcoat and trousers I made a few months back but I thought would go well with the hat. The green one still needs a pom pom.

The pattern for the hat was just two circles and a rectangular band, really. The waistcoat and trousers were based off pieces I already had, but I really wanted a fishtail back for the trousers, and a looser fit, knowing I'd wear them with suspenders. I was going for an Edwardian look, but wanted front pleats.

Black hat is made of a wool fabric, and the other hats are scraps of varying material. The waistcoat and trousers are possibly wool; I bought the fabric from a secondhand craft/thrift shop.
