Over the past few weeks, we've been closely monitoring an increase in bot activity and inappropriate posts, particularly posts focused on provocative images of actresses rather than meaningful discussion about cinema. This type of content is completely changing the direction of the subreddit and is not what r/Cinephiles was created for.

r/Cinephiles exists to encourage in-depth discussions about movies, filmmaking, storytelling, performances, cinematography, and everything that makes cinema special and not for lustful or low-effort posts.

To keep the community safe and maintain the quality of discussions, we have implemented stricter moderation measures:

• Accounts must now be at least 30 days old to create posts.
• Reddit's High Reputation Filter has been enabled to combat bots and spam accounts.
• Users who repeatedly post inappropriate or off-topic content may face a permanent ban from the community.

We also ask our members to continue reporting such posts and accounts whenever you come across them. Your reports and feedback have been incredibly helpful, and we truly appreciate the community's support.

FAQ

Q. Is the test under NDA?
A. This test runs without an NDA. You are free to stream, record, and share gameplay content.

Q. I ran into an issue or have a question.
A. For technical issues or inquiries during the test, reach out via our official Discord channels or the email pbb_support@krafton.com

Q. Where are the servers hosted?
A. In Germany, Korea and in the United States. Connecting from distant regions will likely result in a high ping and possible auto kick from matches.

Q. How long does it take to matchmake into hideout and into a raid?
A. For hideout, it's 30 seconds each for 3 times, totaling 90 seconds. For raids if matchmaking times exceed 15 minutes, please report this.

Q. Can I reset my character during the test?
A. Yes, but you will need to use a new nickname and you will lose your existing progress.

Q. Will progression carry over to release?
A. No, it will be specific to this test and will not carry over to future tests or beyond.

Q. Will we be able to play TPP in this test?
A. No, TPP is unsupported for this test.

Q. Is gamepad input supported?
A. No, only keyboard and mouse are officially supported.

Q. What queue types are there? Are solo and trios put together in matches?
A. There is one queue for all players, and the matchmaker will ensure that the composition of teams is matched as best as possible. Only in very low player traffic scenarios it may occur that you may encounter teams of different compositions in the same match.

Q. Do helmets protect the face also?
A. Some helmet types protect the face and there are also specific gear types that add face protection.
