Is there any chance they reverse their decision to cancel the game?

I feel like it's a huge mistake.

I mean for one, even if they reuse the assets for a future game, there were so many well made content tied to the extraction, all the items, the beautiful map. There is no way it makes any sense to let that go to waste.

Did they expect more traction on the second playtest? The thing is, as an extraction shooter, a regular playtest doesn't work the same way. I wanted to play but didn't because I don't want to have my progress reset in 3 days (and I already did that in playtest 1). I literally wanted to save the experience for the release. If that's the metric they used to assess this that's terrible. It's not a jump in and out game like Battlefield, extractions go on for months, why would you do a 3 day playtest like that. Everyone plays them to see their progress over a longer time. Maybe someone who never play an extraction shooter made that decision?

Shame for all the devs as well, because I can tell you some of them did a very good job that the competition would wish it had at this level.

Edit:

Anyone also remember on the first playtest, when they ended it, they had a message thanking everyone and saying they got a lot more traction and interest than they expected. What happened??
