Updated automod features
As part of our efforts to control and prevent trolls, we've updated and introduced new automod features.
Some of you may have noticed that you have been unable to post/comment; we apologize for any inconvenience that may have caused and it should be fixed now.
The reason behind this is because we added a feature that monitors your subreddit karma, meaning karma that you gain from posting/commenting in this subreddit alone. We added a limit to this feature which means that if you fall below this limit your posts/comments will be filtered out and you will not be able to post/comment in this subreddit.
What this means is that if you are currently able to post/comment you are fine and nothing will change, however, if you are a new account/infrequent poster you are on a tighter leash.
What this feature is meant to control is trolling/brigading. If someone from another subreddit or someone who makes a new account for the sole purpose of trolling/brigading, posts or comments and they get downvoted enough, that negative karma will show up on their subreddit karma. Once they reach this limit, they will no longer be able to participate in this subreddit. This is not a replacement for bans but it's to help filter out trolls who don't receive enough reports for us to see.
On top of this new feature, we have added messages to automod that will specifically tell you the reason for the automatic removal of post/comments. Those reasons being:
• Automatic removal due to received reports
• Account age/general karma requirements
• Low subreddit post/comment karma
If y'all have any questions, feel free to ask.

Is there a way for automod to send users a message for the reason of comment/post removal?
For example if a subreddit has a karma requirement, can I have automod message the user something along the lines of "your comment/post has been removed because it does not reach subreddit karma requirements" same goes with account age.
