Women and/or medical professionals only please! Is it possible to get a referral to a gynaecologist without having to go through my family doctor? Like would it be possible to get a referral if I went to a walk in clinic?

My family doctor is great, but he’s male and I don’t feel comfortable asking him and explaining why I need to be referred. It’s more of a possible anatomical issue that can’t be addressed by a primary care physician.
