I've been stewing over this situation for about a year now. My boyfriend and I started dating my senior year and nothing in the bedroom made me uncomfortable or raised red flags until about a year in. It seemed like overnight, without any conversation or notice, he would start changing the vibe of the encounter to be much more aggressive/demeaning but it was mostly the verbal remarks that shocked me... there was some name-calling but it was mostly bringing up people close to me (family members, friends, coworkers, etc.), during sex that would cause me to literally stop and go, what're you even talking about???
