Weighing up neighbourhoods in London and I’ve narrowed it down to these areas, because I need to be on the Northern Line. I’m kind of stuck being indecisive, so would love others to jump in with their thoughts!!

I’m thinking about moving to a place on Adelaide Road in NW3 (is it Belsize Park, Swiss Cottage or some other thing?). I was wondering if anyone has any experience of living in the area. How is the noise from the road? Is it bearable? Prices in that area are not cheap, so I’d hate to stretch my budget and it’s actually awful.

I’ve always thought the generous use of ‘sorry’ in basically every situation is a cornerstone of British culture, but it seems to be dying out? The amount of times I’ve said ‘sorry’ to someone recently and got a ‘no worries’ back is nothing short of bizarre. It’s not an actual apology! It’s just something you say! What’s driving its disappearance?
