Why my dups get stuck here?

Hello guys! me and my gf are playing together and we have this problem with our gas masks, we have a checkpoint to get inside a mixed air spot and my gf create this place so they drop the mask and put on the suit, it wokrs 50/50 so we put that button there to turn off the checkpoint and allow the dup to run away if they get stuck

Do you guys know what could happen here? Thanks!
