[Request] Card piles

You have a standard card deck of 52 cards. you make piles with the cards in these steps:

  1. place down the top card from the deck. look at its value (A = 1, J-K = 11-13).

  2. subtract the card's value from 13. place that many cards from the top of the deck onto the original card.

  3. put the pile of cards off to the side. repeat until you are unable to make another full pile.

what is the maximum number of piles you can make? Also, what is the maximum number of piles you can make without having any cards leftover at the end?

Shoutout to Lego for making their h*rses come pre-decimated (I assume that gap is roughly 10% of their mass)
