I got an LV bag that had no visible marks in the front (no visible mark in the listings photos and no mention in the description) and it arrived with a black mark in the front. The item had passed authentication and quality control and they said that they can’t do anything. They offered 15€ voucher of goodwill which is just a joke. I won’t buy again.
Has anyone dealt with Vestiaire Collective when an item arrives in a condition that doesn’t match the listing?
I received a Louis Vuitton bag less than 72 hours ago that was listed as being in excellent condition. After inspecting it, I noticed a dark mark/discoloration on the front of the bag that was not mentioned in the description and was not visible in the listing photos.
Vestiaire’s Help Center says to use the “Report an issue” button within the order page, but that button wasn’t available on my order. The live chat also wasn’t working for me, and I ended up sending an email under the general questions category and attached photos of the issue. I’m currently waiting for a response.
I should also like to mention that I paid extra and the item passed authentication and quality control. Shouldn’t quality control point out these things?
I haven’t contacted the seller yet. For those who have been through something similar, what would you recommend I do next? Should I message the seller directly or wait for Vestiaire to respond first? Has anyone had success getting a return or refund approved in a situation like this? Although I’m not sure I would like to return it, but I would pay less.
