Im dreading giving up drumming when i go to college
im a senior in high school and im planning to go to art school after this year. im excited, but since everywhere im thinking about applying to is out of state, ill have to live in a dorm. ive been drumming since middle school and got especially really into it last year. its gotten me through a lot and i love it so much. i hate that im not gonna be able to drum when i go away to college, it feels like losing such a big part of me. i play some guitar, so im thinking about getting an acoustic one and just getting really into that to at least be able to work at it and play some kind of instrument. i know it wont be the same though. it especially sucks cus im in a band too. i dont know, ive been trying trying to push the thought as far away as possible. i dont wanna dwell on it, but recently its just really been on my mind. i just love drumming.
