What Drumkit Should I Buy?

Hi. i play the drums for a year more or less,i have an e-drumkit and im looking to buy a acoustic drumkit,i mainly play metal,punk and rock. i have no idea what drumkit i should buy with the budget of 1200-1350$,could i get some recommendations?

Putting a set of electric drums upstairs (any sound proofing tips)

I know it’s not gonna be totally soundproof but any way to minimise the noise.

First off we live in the end house of a row of houses. The drums aren’t gonna be next to our neighbours adjoining wall. I’m considering building up a small stage (like a little step up) and filling it with some kind of soundproofing materials -which materials would work best? And then surrounding the wall behind it with some more sound proofing materials. Honestly it’s probably the banging that’s going to be an issue has anyone gotten around this?

Side question- anyone that does have electric drums upstairs how has that worked out? What’s your set up? Have there been any issues?

Any teen drummers in midwest Uk (staffordshire and chesire)

Hi. My band (aging 15-16) are finally trying to make thid band thing, a thing. So if you live in stoke, Crewe or generally around that area. Feel free to HMU. if u like, metal, punk grunge or anything kf that nature you will lile out ideas, we want the grungy punk sound mixed with thrash with more punk inspired lyrics about stuff ljke politics or just random shih. Prefably 14-17 and all genders are welcome becuase segration is wank.

Band hero drums cymbals and hi-hat activate each other plus themselves.

I have a band hero drums set that just recently started having this issue where the hi-hat and cymbals activate each other and themselves if one of them is hit, if I disconnect one of them both of them stop working, This happened 5 days ago (at the time of this post) during gameplay. This happens on GHWT:DE and on the Wii, so it’s not a software issue.

Update from earlier post about selling a kit OC/LA

I’ve been trying really hard to sell my Yamaha kit anywhere I can think of, but all I’ve gotten is 2 crazy low offers. I’ve even called Pro Drum in LA and all of the places near me to see if they would either buy or consign with no luck. Am I doing something wrong?
