How to set up click track

I'm the drummer in a band and am a little lost on getting us started with a click track. It would be helpful for us to have a click, particularly for stages that don't allow us to hear each other well. But, we're still on the local level and I often play gigs that only have vocals through the PA while everything else is through our amps. So, a full IEM mix is likely not an option.

What can I do to ensure that we've all got a click? I know that some people argue that the drummer is the only one who needs a click. But, there are multiple songs that are started by another instrument and a click would be helpful.

I'm getting a Tama RW200 rhythm watch for my own practice. Is there an economical, relatively simple way to have a transmitter come from the rhythm watch and be received by individual IEMs? Do I need a little mixer? Do we all need to be corded or can we do this over bluetooth? Really looking for whatever tips are out there.

Thanks in advance!

How do y'all run clicks? Noob to live clicks

Title really says it all. I want to run a click and feel that it would be good for my own development, for the consistency of the band, and for practice as we get ready to record. But, I really don't know anything about clicks and have some questions.

  1. Does everyone get the click or just the drummer?

  2. What happens when the drummer isn't the one counting off?

  3. Pros and cons of presets vs tap tempo, and which tends to be better for local bands?

  4. Do you mix the FOH into your click?

  5. What gear is needed? I'm assuming at the very least I need a mixer and IEM. Do I need a footswitch or effect pedal or something to actually set the click? An app? A metronome with a 1/4" out?

  6. What do you do for songs that have built-in speed ups or slow downs? Or should we just keep things consistent?

I've got a Sire Marcus Miller V7 jazz bass. I'm going to be honest, I probably shouldn't have gotten it, as I'm just not that big of a jazz bass person. Of course, a jazz is super versatile and there are good arguments to be made for every bass player having a jazz. But, I'm more of a precision or mm style person. So, I'm considering swapping pups and putting in some Delano large poles.

I have a Sire P7 (PJ config) and a Sire Z7 (MM bridge, currently putting in a large pole neck pup), and a Sire V7. The P7 is my main and I've got Ernie Ball nickel slinkys on it. The Z7 had some electronic issues that I'm getting repaired, but I like what I have heard from it before the preamp went out. The V7 has flats on it because I wanted a secondary bass with flats.

Since I got the Z7, I've been really thinking about large pole pups a lot. Particularly with me not really loving jazz basses, I'm considering swapping the pups on the V7 with some large pole pups (likely Delano). I'm hoping to get something punchy, smooth, and a bit of growl, but not necessarily "bite," if that makes any sort of sense. Would large pole jazz pups paired with flats be a good option? Have any of y'all done this? What are your thoughts?

▲ 6 r/bidets

My partner and I are looking to get a bidet. I would prefer a handheld because they're cheap, easy to install, and would be better for after care cleanup. She would prefer a bidet seat because that's what's more familiar and because of splashing concerns. We're renters, so the heated bidets are probably not an option (but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). So, that leaves the primary consideration to be ease of use and not splashing.

Obviously, proper use will be the primary way to avoid splashing. But, neither of us currently use a bidet very often and there would be a learning curve. Are there any anti-splash gadgets that you'd advise? I've found some "pee-flector" type attachments that are designed for the front of the seat and might not work/be comfortable on the back of the seat if spraying backward.

Like I said, we're both pretty new to bidets, but would like to get one for enhanced hygiene. I just don't know how to best fit both of our needs and avoid splashing. Any tips or insight would be appreciated!

I typically use headphones at home, as my amp is very loud even when turned down. I live in an apartment and don't want the walls rattling. I've got a class D solid state amp with 1/8" headphone output, so I can hook it up to studio monitors via aux cord. Any recommendations for decent studio monitor speakers that aren't the cost of an amp? I'm not super picky. but, I would like to have decent audio and of course, bass response.
