Here I have a simple comparison between my two conlangs: Polk and Leviastani.

While Polk is an Eastern Savan Language, Leviastani is an Eastern one. Western, Eastern, Insular(extinct) and Central Savan Languages all separated from Proto-Savan around 1200 years ago but repeated contact between cultures and loanwords make them highly intelligible.

Polk has plenty of loanwords from Morshunic languages and is more regular due to heavy reforms in the early 20th century for it to be easy to learn (and to be forcibly imposed into minorities ). As Leviastani takes some loanwords from Banjor, an language isolate from the indigenous peoples from the Pezkad Island (where Leviastan [Ljevastav in Leviastani] is located)

This is an ethnic map dating to 2024 (36 Seventh Intervention Era), just months before the start of the collapse of the UWC and the Heart Empire

¿What are those?

The Heart Empire (Or Cheriskian Empire) was one of the major powers of the World of Marnö, founded after the baptism of Čenlez I in the 13th century (Christianity and Islam came to this world via the interventions: portals opened between our world and Marnö).

They extended onto the Continent of Kuva, where in 1693, the United Western Colonies were established. Shortly after, the Protectorate of Toravika was established in 1704, being formally annexed into the empire by 1782.

After the Skarsańy Treaty in 1970, the UWC and Toravika were elevated to Constituent Countries of the Empire, functioning as independent countries (especially the UWC).

Ethnic Tensions, discontent with the government back in Cheriskia, the rise of nationalism among other factors drove to the collapse of the UWC and shortly after to the whole empire. Starting with the Toravika Conflict in April 2024 ending with the formal dissolution of the UWC on 10/8/2026 and later the dissolution of the whole kingdom in 9/10/2029.

Ethnic Groups of the UWC:

• Cheriskians: Originally from the mainland part of the Empire (in Cheriskia, duh) comparable with the Peninsular Spaniards living in America during the Spanish Empire Era. Mainly living in Sérb̗ajkziv and Eastern Akania

• Zb̗erený: They make up the major part of the colonies population, they are descendants of the Cheriskians that mixed with all of the native ethnic groups, found mainly in Kurvaçiče, Brétvask and the Berenia Province of Restin

•Toravikans: Native population of Toravika, found obviously in *Kurvaçiče* ,

•Orvastanis: Native settlers of Orvastan, unlike the majority of the colonies population, they're Muslim, product of heavy Uri influence throughout it's history. The territory of modern day Orvastan was subject between countless wars and disputes between Ür and the Heart Empire, actually, Orvastan's independence war (2026-2030), is also called the 7th Orvastan War.

•Ardabodas: Natives to the country of Ardaboda, but with strong presence In modern day Restin throughout history, they're the biggest diaspora group in the whole colonies.

•Akas: One of the largest ethnic groups in all of Marnö, they're hypothesized to come from Ushmir just south of modern day Akania, the ones in Akania are the so called Sereni Akas (from Zb̗erený). They believe in the Three Way Idrism, a cult seen as blasphemous by the majority of Idrists.

•T̗ok̄arians: They're the aboriginals of the UWC land, it isn't know for 100% the origin of the T̗ok̄arians, they were mixed with the colonizers and other groups giving birth to the Zb̗erený (and obviously, massacred too) so although they are the original owners of the land, only ~700,000 T̗ok̄arians are left (estimations, 2045)

Uris, Sukawans, Kavarians, Armafutese: simply the diaspora from Ür, Sukawa, Kavaris and Armafut living there, nothing else

•H̅atanz Uris: they're an Urí subgroup native to the Homonymous mountain range extending through Ür and Orvastan, they are nomads who depend heavily on Caribou meat and fur
