8K for 2020 Leon trade in

Lads, the missus got offered €8000 trade in for her 2020(202) Seat Leon 1.0 Xcellence (new shape). It has 45,000km on it full service history, 3 years from Seat themselves then other 2 off another garage. Car's clean only issue with it is the rear camera isn't working, got water ingress and unserviceable since.

Salesman said the car's too old that he can't sell it. Am I mad in thinking he's taking the piss ? Anyone got a reason why he offered soo low ?

New Lawn Brown Spots

Lads, I got a newly rolled lawn laid 6 weeks ago. I messed up cutting it today & cut it too short. I had set the level to 5 but must have slipped down to 3 when I moved it. Only noticed it when I was finished.

I had trimmed it 2 weeks ago was fine. Anyhow there's loads of brown spots now.

I've watered it every evening that it hasn't rained.

Any tips on how to get it back to a uniform colour and do's and don't going forward would be greatly appreciated.

Go easy on me, I'm new to this being an adult having to look after others things bar myself.
