You see, Bungie messed up and released the update coinciding with National Zoo Keeper Week, which ends today.

It was just a bad week to drop an update with such a huge national celebration of Zoo Keepers.

Once the Zoo Keeper Week is over later tonight players will rush back to Marathon, you just wait and see!

Although it may be a slow return, it's National Scotch day on Monday so that might eat into some of the player base, and we do have the wrap up week of the British Archaeology. Now you may think I was joking but I think we can all agree, British Archaeology literally shaped the world and likely the celebrations might take some players from our beloved game.

I think it's just been hard for Bungie and Marathon Devs having to compete with such massive events pulling the player count away, but we will see them come back! Have hope!

P.S How do I add my Vandal Flair on this subreddit? How will people know imma serious gamer if I don't have my Vandal Flair????

Guys, we haven't lost 2,000 players since this time yesterday.

We have a new prime minister in the UK so a lot of us are watching the appointment of his cabinet. It's very important to watch it and therefore we can't play Marathon right now.

Other reasons include;

It's the last day of school for a lot of people so they may be at the pub drinking to celebrate.

Erm, steam charts are wrong, there's an error with the metrics.

The uninstall and play buttons got mixed up, simple mistake, it's being sorted.

It's a race not a marathon...

And it's a Sunday night so people.are getting ready for work.

And. And. And....
