Micromanaging SL

500 Hours in squad and I often opt for SL(Infantry)

Couple questions I would like answered and suggestions heavily wanted.

I play Australian servers and I'm not sure if it's normal but teamwork is really good for my blueberries, when I start a squad in staging phase I often hand pick everyone's kits to look something like this. Infantry and mech Inf

A

[ Me

[ Suppression(Machine Gunner/Grenadier) or Driver

[ Suppression(Marksman/Automatic Rifleman) or Gunner

B

[ Hat

[ Rifleman

[ Medic

C

[ Lat

[ Rifleman

[ Medic

I like to individually use firearms to their strengths

Eg

If we're taking fire to the east I'll tell Charlie to not move and dump all their ammo east whilst bravo and aplha move in to kill

Is this micromanaging worth it? Is it more effective to just tell everyone to kill the guys east?

Often sectioning off everyone and using every strength of every kit has amazing effects especially paired with an apc.

Should I just start a squad and run at the objective as to br less micromanaging and annoying.?

Tips encouraged

SF Selection Question?

I am 16, almost finished highschool, and for about 4 years i have wanted to join the commandos. I'm starting my application into infantry in a month or two and am physically and mentally where I want to be but am still trying to better myself.

I have heard from people on reddit and recruiters that there is no guarantee that you will be accepted into the selection entry test let alone selection. Is this true to an extent. In the past 6 months I have worried less on if I will pass selection/be chosen to continue the reinforcement cycle and more on plainly being accepted into the course.

Is there any reasons they would plainly say no to me doing the entry test and selection?

I feel like it would be fair to let everyone have a crack or else they might be missing out on some of the best possible operators because of dumb reasons like grades.

Summary:

What does the application to SF look like between the finish of IET(Singleton) and the Special forces entry test/Selection.
