Transition has been so hard, I'm thinking of stopping hrt and just being a man again.

43F, 7months hrt.

Everything in my life has become so much harder. Family, friends, work, it's all been so negatively impacted. This was supposed to make my life better but has made it worse. It's nice to love the person I am, but this just feels too much.

It's so heart breaking to have come so far, yet suffered so much.

Porto-Potty key, do you ask for it or is it given to you?

In California, I'm not sure where else, job site bathrooms are to be separated by men and women. I have to ask for the key or passcode to the lock. Is this normal? I wonder if cis woman have to do the same. I feel like it should be part of first day on boarding.

Is it common for men to gently touch you in a “friendly” way?

I have been an electrician for over 16 years. Recently I came out at work as trans. This man at work will gently place his hand on my back or arm in a friendly sort of way. Usually if we’re laughing about something. NEVER has happened to me before. Never once in 16 years. I guess men dont touch men but can touch woman? Is this sort of entitlement to a woman’s personal space common? Im not going to say anything. I think it would only create a problem. He has always been super nice to me too. Like almost suspiciously nice. 🤔
