Every time I perform extracts, I always get a significant yield on the first yield. I did two water washes and the second wash really didn't change color at all so I was doubting that extra lye was in there and this time I used significantly less lye. People that post on here show that they barely get a few specs so I don't understand why I keep getting so much and if this is some sort of problem. Probably early yet in the drying process but I tried some on my emesh and it made my skin feel like it was prickling. Over all, it was un pleasant when I tried a small bit. What is going on?
