Latter-day GD that's reminiscent of early-day GD

Jerry sometimes sounded like actual rain falling during "Looks Like Rain"
I haven't heard him slide many more bum notes than anyone else. I've been playing guitar for decades and I still stink so maybe I'm no judge but . . . An example I like is on It's All Over Now from the 2nd show Augusta '84. Check it out. He alternates between slide and his "usual" rhythm. I think it's quite tasteful. He doesn't actually solo here (maybe his slide soloing is what people don't like) but what he's doing is just exactly perfect. And if you don't like Bobby here I can be entertained by watching and listening to any single one of these guys for this whole song. They are a full-on Rock 'n Dixieland-Roll orchestra in that everyone is doing his own thing but it all rolls into one beautiful "(can't think of an adequate noun here)". FF to It's All Over Now (or don't - this is a hot first set)

Crappy video but a great audio mix.
