Crimson Desert devs will keep updating it "as long as there's demand"
In an interview with Dexerto, Pearl Abyss’ PR & Marketing Director said they will keep updating the game “as long as there’s demand for it.”
Keeping the player count high also works as "free marketing" - "Having continued support and continued content both rewards your community and the people that have invested time in it, as well as doing free marketing without having to spend it elsewhere"
