What are the most important tips you've learned recently, that actually helped you improve?

I'll start. I just learned how to take 50s. Be the last one to flip (if you flip at all) So simple. Went and tested it, and I won 90 percent of them!!

I also learned not to boost into the ball when you make contact with it on air dribbles. I just did my first cross map air dribble without using a dodge first touch or flip resets.

Multi touch air dribble trainer

I made this pack to get myself more comfortable with multi touch air dribbles with the goal of getting my first cross map. After 4 hours I finally got one, barely lol

the first 5 shots start you out moving in the air. It doesn't exactly simulate a good set up, but it helps get more comfortable with boost timing. The from ground setups actually felt lighter than the ones where you're already in the air, but they somehow helped me get used to controlling a heavy feeling ball, which for me was unavoidable after the 3rd or 4th touch on the longer shots.

I just realized I play 4 times as much casual as I do competitive...

And I wonder why competitive feels so challenging and I feel like I play slower and lack quick decision making skills. Time to change my approach.

I generally tried to play more casual because I would get too upset emotionally playing competitive, but recently I have gotten better at getting less tilted or finding ways to cope through it. I also want to adopt a strategy of spending that time I used to spend solo q casual games on a training regimen I've just written out.

Anyway, casual has been fun and it's still a fun way to blow off some steam with teammates if we go on a little losing streak together before we get hurt feelings. Just writing out some thoughts as if reddit is my diary but I'm sure it will bring up some perspectives that may be helpful

What am I doing wrong here to not get a pop reset?

"reset on one side of the ball and speed flip under the ball in the opposite direction" are the instructions I received from content creators. I really love doing these "finger roll" shots but they aren't pop resets. Any suggestions?

Learn how to wall Musty

Updated training pack. Shot 1 is just to get familiar with the motion, shot 2 is for a backflip musty and a delayed backflip musty to air dribble. Shot 3 is to learn the nose down Musty. I'm still learning to perfect these shots myself and am no teacher but it's definitely helped me get more consistent

Updated flip reset pack

Updated pack to learn flip resets. This is NO REPLACEMENT for hours spent in free play or other training packs learning the proper setup. Just something to get people more familiar with flip resets. I mistakenly called them "pop resets" on the previous version. I guess these would be called "reset shots" or something idk. Maybe it will help someone

Surprise blessing!

Day 2 of practicing pop resets with my training pack and got a surprise blessing with this one! It wasn't intentional but I'll take it 😅😎

Update: 2 new shots in Anyone Can Pop Reset training pack

Practice repetition of execution, then work on approach consistency, then try to get a bounce dribble and finish with a pop reset
