Slowing shoe flaking?

Hello! I have these pair of pleather(?) boots that are my all time favorite, and I just noticed today they are starting to flake. I knew about the scuff on the toe of the left shoe, but the rest is new. I know you can’t stop the flaking entirely, but is there a way to slow it? Or help it look better? I take very good care of all my shoes so this has me a bit stressed. I’ve also only worn them on normal clear days, I don’t wear them if it’s going to rain, not sure if this is helpful information haha. Thank you so much for any help!

Suede fixing help please!!😭

I would appreciate any help!! My boyfriend’s cat threw up on my UGG house slippers which I cherish dearly and take extreme care of. These aren’t cheap shoes, and it’s only my second pair ever, my first pair lasted me around 10ish years and I only replaced them due to the sole wearing down. So I really take good care of my shoes normally. In a panic I dabbed / lightly brushed the puke with cold water and a towel, and it didn’t look too too bad, until it dried. Now it’s wrinkled, shiny and lighter colored where it was. It’s on me for not knowing how to clean them to begin with, but please please please tell me there is a way to save them 😭. I don’t have a suede brush so I tried a soft horsehair brush I have but it didn’t do anything. How can I reclean, de-mat or restore these please? Thank you so very much for any help !! Please let me know if more pictures are needed
