Can I completely hide a 25-day employment history before my MBA? (PF account created)

Hey everyone, new here and looking for some honest career/HR advice.I graduated in July 2024 and had a gap year. I recently joined a firm in February 2026 but resigned myself after exactly 25 days due to sudden family issues. It was an amicable resignation, not a termination.

Here is my current situation:

Documents I have: Full & Final (FnF) slip, and a Service Letter confirming my exact 25-day tenure, role, and location.

Documents I DON'T have: Salary slips (none were generated) and a formal resignation acceptance email.

The Catch: A Provident Fund (PF) entry was created for this 25-day period. I generated the UAN myself online before joining, and the company deposited the PF into this account.

I am planning to pursue an MBA very soon. This tiny 25-day stint feels like a massive hindrance on my profile.

My Questions:

  1. Can I completely omit/hide this 25-day experience from my resume and MBA applications?

  2. Since a PF account was generated, will this automatically trigger a red flag during background verification (BGV) for future corporate jobs post-MBA?

  3. Is a Service Letter + FnF slip enough to justify it if it does show up, or will the lack of salary slips ruin my background check?

Appreciate any advice from HR professionals, MBA students, or anyone who has been through this! Thanks in advance.

Went to the gym for the first time to fix my slim arms. In a full-sleeve kurta. It went horribly. 💀

So, I have always been insecure about having super slim arms AND body. It is the exact reason why my entire wardrobe is just full-sleeve shirts and kurtas—classic camouflage.Today, I finally decided to do something about it. I bought my membership back on August 14th but today, August 17th, was D-Day.I walk up to the entrance, try to scan my thumb, and nothing happens. The fingerprint scanner completely rejects me. The reception staff is looking at me like I just wandered in from the street. They ask for my name and if I even enrolled my thumb. I’m standing there under pressure, insisting, "Yes, I did!" Turns out they had zero clue who I was.But here is where the camouflage backfired.I didn't wear normal gym clothes. I showed up in a full-sleeve kurta and lowers to hide my arms.As I finally sneak past the desk, the trainer sitting at reception calls me out loudly: "Bro, shirt is not allowed. Wear a t-shirt from tomorrow." The irony? This exact trainer spent the rest of his shift ignoring everyone because he was too busy aggressively working out himself. So there I was. Forced to face my fears tomorrow in a t-shirt, while spending today lifting absolute heavy-duty 2.5kg dumbbells with my full sleeves flapping in the AC wind.Honestly, 10/10 cinematic disaster. At least the 2.5kg weights felt heavy.

[Newbie] Very skinny guy starting gym for the first time tomorrow. I have zero muscle mass and no idea what to do. Help!

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for some advice and honestly, a little bit of encouragement.

I have a very thin figure. My arms are incredibly skinny—it honestly feels like I’m just bones with zero muscle mass. My body image has gotten to the point where I don't even wear t-shirts anymore because I hate how my arms look in them. I exclusively wear long-sleeve shirts just to hide my body.

Tomorrow is a huge day for me: I am joining a gym for the very first time. The problem is, I haven't worked out or played any sports since the COVID-19 lockdowns, so my fitness and stamina are basically at absolute zero.

I want to change my body and finally be able to wear a t-shirt with confidence, but I’m feeling really overwhelmed and anxious.

I’d love some advice on a few things:

What should I actually do on my first day? (Should I just walk on the treadmill? Try machines? Avoid free weights for now?)

How do I get over "gym anxiety"? I’m terrified people are going to stare at how skinny I am or judge me for lifting the lightest weights.

What are the most basic eating habits I need to start building?

Any tips, beginner routines, or words of wisdom would be incredibly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

TL;DR: Super skinny guy, zero fitness since COVID, hiding my arms in long shirts. Going to the gym for the first time tomorrow and need advice on what to do on day one and how to deal with anxiety.
