Already picked up my calendar for next year! 🗓️

It's that time of the year again when Japanese 100-yen shops start putting out calendars for next year!

Every year, I usually get a simple, minimalist wall calendar from Seria that has plenty of writing space. But when I was at Daiso recently, I came across this super cute fluffy animals calendar and decided to switch things up for 2027.

The 1st photo shows my current 2026 calendar alongside the new 2027 one. Look at that adorable long-tailed tit (Shima-enaga) for January😍 I’m already looking forward to turning the page each month.

Does your country start selling next year's calendars this early too?

¥500 ($3.50) Washi Tape Challenge! Stuffed 11 rolls of World Craft tapes into a tube at my local supermarket! 🇯🇵✨

Hi everyone! I wanted to share my lucky haul from today.

My local supermarket was hosting an "all-you-can-stuff" event for washi tapes. For only 500 yen (around $3.50 USD), you get a clear plastic tube and you can keep as many tapes as you can fit inside!

The brand is all World Craft, which is known for their high quality and beautiful gold foils. I managed to squeeze in 11 rolls! I especially love the sunflower 🌻 and the leaf garland 🌿 designs. It was so much fun trying to fit them all perfectly like a puzzle (haha).

Does your country ever have events like this? I’m so excited to use these in my Hobonichi / planners!
