I just found this ipod touch 3 and tried to charge it. With some troubleshooting this ipod is still working. I really want to use this as a music player. Now i‘m testing the battery life. So far it’s been two hours and it still half. Better than my iphone 5s battery.

What’s jailbreak do you recommend for ios 4.2.1? Is the battery life gonna be worse after jailbreaking it? And what’s the recommended tweaks for using this device as a music player?

I borrowed my friend’s ipod charger so i can try mine. Have to troubleshoot it, because at the first time i charge it, it doesn’t show anything. Tried to clean the charging port and after that voila, it charged. So the problem was dirty charging port. What should i do with this? Should i jailbreak it? it has ios 4.2.1. Really want to use this as a music player. Your thoughts?
