Hi all! If this is not allowed, Mods can delete, but I'm searching to buy this case for my iPod touch! I had it and then it got too close to a heater and it disintegrated, and I've been looking for a replacement ever since! That was in 2019.

TYIA, I haven't been able to find it on any of the buy sell trade websites like Mercari, Poshmark, etc, so I've been looking!

Warning to anyone buying a iPod Touch 7th Gen on eBay, especially from China:

I bought an iPod Touch 7G from a seller in China. It looked almost brand new and seemed to work perfectly at first, even the ICloud Login. After resetting the device directly at the settings, there were no signs of any issues. However, after reinstalling the software completely through iTunes, the iCloud Activation Lock suddenly appeared.

It turns out the device had been bypassed, which was impossible to notice before doing a full restore. Be very careful when buying a used iPod touch. Always check if the Activation Lock is truly removed, especially when buying from overseas, because a simple reset on the device may not reveal the problem.

The seller also wanted to offer me a discount, and it was very difficult to send the iPod back but he relented and created a shipping label.
Oddly enough, he also switched between English and Chinese.

I borrowed my friend’s ipod charger so i can try mine. Have to troubleshoot it, because at the first time i charge it, it doesn’t show anything. Tried to clean the charging port and after that voila, it charged. So the problem was dirty charging port. What should i do with this? Should i jailbreak it? it has ios 4.2.1. Really want to use this as a music player. Your thoughts?

Yesterday I bought this 7th generation iPod Touch.

I got the iPod for €70 (US$81). I tried to negotiate, but the seller told me the price wasn't negotiable. I think, considering the aesthetic and internal condition of the device, and being a 7th generation model, the price has been relatively good.

The back and sides are practically like new, the screen has a few scratches, but considering its 6 years old, I dont think its anything serious.

93% battery health / 243 cycles

And the best part is, there's Apple hardware support for the 7th generation, so I plan to put a new battery in mine when it gets close to 85%.

I just noticed what I assume is an early Spicy Pillow on My 7th Gen iPod touch. The left side of the screen seems to be separating slightly from the main body of the iPod and the home button feels a little recessed in the device.

I bought an ipod touch 2nd gen from the flea market for 6$ and i don't have an 30pin cable and i just want to test the ipod quick.

Designed some simple iPod docks that properly center the iPod Nanos.

I made them because a lot of basic 30-pin docks make certain Nano models sit slightly off-center, and once you see it, it looks cursed.

They print in about 25 minutes, use the common 30-pin cable, and are easy to dock / undock daily.

I made versions for most iPod Nanos, plus iPod Touch.

Also, slightly related: I recently ditched Spotify. By next month, once I’ve converted all my music, I’m cancelling my subscription completely.

Have you guys also noticed how Spotify’s algorithm makes listening less enjoyable? It keeps repeating the same 30 songs from my 1500-song playlist, and when I turn on smart shuffle it tries to force-feed me random garbage I never asked for.

I’d like to regain access to my old iPod touch, but the screen is cracked and not functional, so I’m unable to press “trust” when plugging it in to a computer to view the files. Everything should still work, believe it’s just a display issue. What’s the easiest way to get the screen fixed? Not sure if I would be capable of doing a repair kit.

I saw an iPod Touch 4G 64GB for a good price and decided to buy it to keep my iPod Video company. It's in like-new condition; it is a refurbished Chinese version with a fake package that simulates the original. So far, everything works fine, but I need to test it more thoroughly to do a proper review.

It all started when I was at my grandmas house and found an iPod touch my 21 year old cousin had, so I tried to revive it by getting a green charger that was clean at first sight then my dad said the charger is old and can't charge so I got a white one and put it on change, the problem is the iPod keeps showing the battery and apple logo for 20 seconds and loops, I did research about it, but I only got one thing, and I thought it didn't make sense so I NEED ANSWERS PLEASE
