Name: Saurognathus mustelosmilus
Size: 55 centimeters long ( full body )
Location: Southern Gondwana ( Antarctica )
Time period: Early Jurassic ( 185 million years ago )
Clade: Chordata//Synapsida//Therapsidia//Cynodontia//Probainognathia//Tritheledontidae
Description: The cool coniferous forests of southern Gondwana are home to many animal species adapted to it's unique environment. Saurognathus mustelosmilus is one of such species. At the first glance, this creature looks like a mammal, but with the closer inspection their status as basal cynodont becomes apparent. In fact, all holocenic mammalian clades are yet to appear. Saurognathus is covered in fur, but they lack earlobe. Additionally, it's limbs are slightly outwardly placed and their tail is longer and thicker in comparison to more derived cynodonts. This animal is an omnivore with carnivorous linings. They feed on vide array of insects, small animals and eggs, sometimes suplemented with plant matter. Saurognathus is a oviparous species, laying up to 12 soft eggs in dug up nest during spring ( with in the case of Gondwana would fall during September to early November ). Female will periodically return to it in order to ensure protection from elements and potentiall egg predators. What cuts this species above the rest is it's size and metabolism. For first, at over half a meter long, this makes Saurognathus one of the largest mesozoic synapsids to ever evolve, only faling a bit short behind Repenomamus and Patagomaia that appeared later. When it comes to their metabolism, they are capable of entering torpor in orther to survive the winter months, as even despite the higher global temperatures, poles remain cool.

30 million years into the future...
A Golden Possum ( Arbosacculus vulpisciurus // Tree-pouch, squirrel-fox ) watches from the safety of the tree a wery unusual meeting of two younglings. First and more noticable of the two is a Bush Donser ( Elephaequus grandis // Grandest elephant-horse ). It's also much younger than the other one, being a few days old at most. It's even still covered in short hair, that will eventually be lost as it ages. Despite that however, it still has respectable 110 kilograms ( or 242.5 pounds ) in weight, with itself is a fraction of a 5 ton adult. The other one is a Common Sahul Cat ( Australifelis pervagatus // Widespread, southern cat ). Although this young female is still relatively older than the donser, she only recently became fully independent. Most likely, this female was surprised by this curious baby. Soon however, the young donser's curiosity will wain and will come back to it's mother to feed itself. Near them, a Ruddy Pebble-toad ( Petraderma rufus // Red, stone-skin ) is basking in the sun rays, unbothered by the near occurence.
I've made this all the way back in june, just before the final episode released.
30 million years into the future...
After months of darkness, sun finally began rising above horizon, signaling the end of polar night and the begining of spring. Although it still will take a lot of time before temperatures increase enough for growing season to begin, severall species, like Common Lumbergoose ( Fragoanserus gravicrus // Heavy-legged thunder-goose ), already started to prepare for the upcoming reproductive season. This particular young male already began signaling his readiness to mate through his low honking. If he's lucky, he'll grab attention of two to four females whom which he will then mate and later create a nest in with they'll lay up to six eggs each. That is if he'll be able to successfully compete with older, more experienced males.
I saw a lot of people make their own rendition of the "Viltrumites trend", so I choosed to give it a shot too.
Here are the characters:
Thragg with the skull of Argall - Steppe Sylvanspark of the male protector form, holding the skull of Fork-tailed Babbling Jay - the first sophont of Serina
Thula - Thalassic Gravedigger
Anissa - Reaper, a sapient subspecies of Aukvulture
Conquest - Daydreamer whaler
Lucan - Woodcrafter
Kregg - Woolly Wumpo
A viltrumite woman - Whisperwing
A viltrumite man - Continental Leucrocotta
