Receiving my Usui Reiki Level 2 attunement tomorrow – looking for advice from experienced practitioners

Tomorrow I'll be receiving my Usui Reiki Level 2 attunement after almost a year of working with my Reiki Master.

I trust her completely, and the work we've done together has honestly changed my life in ways I never imagined. She's an incredible practitioner, and I have no doubts about her abilities. The only thing is that she's not very talkative when it comes to explaining the theory or all the practical applications of Reiki. Her approach is more "experience it, and you'll understand." 😅

Because of that, I'm still left with a lot of questions about what Level 2 actually allows me to do and how to properly use the first two symbols.

I've been searching online, but I keep finding contradictory information. Most articles either cover all Reiki levels together or focus mainly on Level 3/Master. I'm specifically interested in Level 2 only.

One thing that really confuses me is what I can actually do after this attunement. Some practitioners say that after Level 2 you're already able to treat other people and perform distance Reiki using the first two symbols. Other sources say you shouldn't work on other people until you've completed all Usui Reiki levels.

So I'd really love to hear from people who have actually been through this stage.

What changed for you after Level 2?

How do you personally use the first two symbols?

Were you already treating other people after Level 2?

Were you practicing distance Reiki?

How did your teacher instruct you to use the symbols?

What were the limitations of Level 2, if any?

Is there anything you wish someone had explained to you before or immediately after your Level 2 attunement?

I'm not looking for textbook definitions or copy-pasted information from websites. I'd really appreciate hearing from people who practice Usui Reiki and are willing to share their personal experience and how they actually used Level 2 in real life.

Thank you so much! 🙏
