Please pray for my boy, Melo. He’s 15 and he’s in ICU at the moment.

He’s been such a tough little guy his whole life but now he’s really needing a community of those who can appreciate the amount of love he’s capable of giving to send it back his way ten folds. I can’t thank you all enough for this, even anything as simple as a thought. 💞❤️‍🩹💞

***An update on Melo 💔***

First, thank you all so much for the incredible outpouring of kindness, prayers, and love. I never expected it would reach so many people and reading your comments really helped me(us) through the toughest day of my life.

Yesterday, the vet called us twice with updates saying that he was responding well to treatments and was on track to come home this evening. We were so hopeful. But everything changed suddenly. It’s believed that he suffered a pulmonary embolism, and despite all efforts, he passed.

Melo gave me nearly 16 years of unconditional comfort, companionship, and love. I fell in love with him from the first moment I set eyes on him. My grandfather was a respected breeder of chihuahuas so I had been around them my whole life. They’re ALL special but I knew immediately that Melo had a spirit I had never encountered, it matched mine. He was my best friend and the hole he’s left behind is impossible to fill.

Knowing that so many strangers took their time and cared enough to pray for him means more to me than I can express. Thank you for loving a little Chihuahua you’ve never met. I’ll carry his love and your kindness with me as I walk this path forward, him as my angel.

Run free, my sweet Melo. Say hi to Grandma, Grandpa, Pepper, Gizmo, Melly, and Buddy. Until we meet again, my sweet boy 💞✨🪽

REIKI SHARE DAY: 24 hrs of Free Reiki with the SPACE CROISSANT CREW. The theme is PRETENDLAND: HONORING THE ELDERLY. IT starts NOW!

Hi, Everyone!

Last week we explored sending Reiki to the victims of natural disasters and weather phenomena around the world. Together we created a circle of compassion for those whose lives were suddenly changed by forces beyond their control.

This week's theme is that we are going to Pretendland. We are honoring the elderly and taking them to a reverse Hospice place. Where they heal and get young again, with the help of fairies and angels.

We are sending Reiki to elderly people who may be living with loneliness, illness, fear, or isolation. We are also sending Reiki to children who have no one to protect them, who are frightened, neglected, displaced, or simply in need of love, safety, and hope.

We also extend our circle of compassion to those who are transitioning from this life to their next home. May their journey be peaceful. May they be surrounded by love, comfort, dignity, and light. May they be greeted by their passed on loved ones. May their families and loved ones find strength, acceptance, and healing.

If you work with angels, fairies, spirit guides, ancestors, or simply the loving energy of the Universe, you are invited to imagine them standing beside these souls. Imagine gentle guardians surrounding every hospital bed, every hospice room, every lonely apartment, every refugee shelter, every child who cries at night, and every elder who wonders if they have been forgotten.

No one should have to feel alone.

As always, our intention is simple: to become a small source of comfort in a world that sometimes feels overwhelming.

THE LOVE CIRCLE

Imagine you’re now in a circle surrounded by 36 Reiki practitioners sending you waves of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE and wrapping your body in UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

Imagine your body and your organs releasing excess negative thoughts, emotions, sensations, feelings, stress, and pain.

We will use the Violet Flame to cleanse the circle and stir away the pain and negativity surrounding your body, its organs, and its systems. Your body will thank you. Imagine doing it for 20 mins.

We will also imagine this Violet Flame gently surrounding every elderly person who feels forgotten, every child who feels afraid, and every soul preparing for their peaceful transition. May this loving light bring peace, comfort, courage, and reassurance.

We will be here for 24 hrs making sure everyone has an opportunity to release pain and stress from their body, its organs, and its systems and find love within.

Don’t worry, we will be very gentle and take good care of your pain and excess negative emotions and feelings, if you have any.

Hope you all feel well tomorrow and are ready to start a new week.

This is Master Storm. I am a Usui Reiki Master. I, along with Master Phoenix, and the Space Croissant Crew, are responsible for Gratitude Reiki, the website, and our Sunday events here on r/reikishare and r/reiki.

Thank you for allowing us to help all of you every Sunday.

🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲

OUR TREE PROJECT WILL CONTINUE!

If you’d like to help us ground the session, consider planting a tree.

Google “how to plant a tree for a dollar.” Share the receipt with us in the comments. It’s a real tree, and it’s now forever connected to you, helping you breathe through difficult times.

Thank you for your kindness!

So far this year we have 160 trees planted! Our goal for 2026 is 500 trees. We’re a bit behind.

When you plant a tree you create a TREE-SELF and you can imagine that tree helping you BREATHE in REAL LIFE from now on and for the rest of your life. Let us know if your tree has a name too!

🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲

This is it! We’re excited for today’s session!

We have a whole team of people doing Ground Control so you don’t have to be afraid of spacing out and not knowing how to come back. Just stay in touch!

Let us know tomorrow how you feel! The goal is for you to feel good now and heal your body and mind.

Thank you!

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Master class crash

I’ve been feeling very exhausted since the master class last weekend and been wondering if I’m processing stuff or if it’s that I have too much going on. I certainly feel different. Has anyone else had this experience?

Child healed from cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and severe asthma

This is a healing account from Dr. Bradley Nelson's Emotion Code. This is told by Betty, who adopted Julie. Julie was born to a mother who was addicted to cocaine. Julie had cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and severe asthma before Dr. Nelson used the Emotion Code to help her.

>We got Julie when she was a day old; she was a drug-exposed baby, and we planned on adopting her. She was sick, and in and out of the hospital at least three or four times a month with severe asthma, and was on a machine to help her breathe, on prednisone and two or three other asthma medicines. She had cerebral palsy, and her behavior was just terrible.

>We found Dr. Nelson for my mother, who was not doing well. And after seeing how far along she came, we decided to bring Julie to him. She has seen Dr. Nelson for thirteen treatments, and when we came, she was in the hospital seven times in December, and she was on a machine. It's been three weeks since she has had any asthma medicine or the asthma machine or anything. She is doing really well. She is walking much better, and her bad behavior is almost gone.

>She is talking now. When we started bringing her in, her speech was not there. She's talking, counting, and doing very, very well. We are very pleased and very happy with the results so far. She is just a different child. It was to the point that we didn't know if we were going to make it through a day with her or not between the asthma and her fit-throwing; she could have fits that would last for two-and-a-half hours. Now she may get irritated, but no fits; she might cry a little bit, but that's about it. We feel very happy and we feel very good!

>-Betty R.

In the book, Dr. Nelson shares that Julie continued to improve, and before long, Julie's doctors informed Betty that they were withdrawing their diagnoses of cerebral palsy and intellectual ability.

When Reiki Feels Quiet, Is It Still Working?

Hello r/socialreiki,

I want to ask something today that I think many practitioners have experienced, but maybe do not always talk about openly.

What do we do with the Reiki sessions that feel quiet?

Not every session comes with a strong sensation, emotional release, intuitive message, warmth in the hands, or clear shift in the body. Sometimes we sit down to practice, set the intention, place our hands, breathe, and the whole experience feels almost ordinary. Nothing dramatic happens. Nothing obvious moves. Nothing announces itself as healing.

And if we are being honest, that can sometimes bring up doubt.

We may start wondering if we were distracted, if we did something wrong, if the energy was not flowing, or if we are somehow less connected than we thought we were. It is easy to trust the practice when we feel something strong. It is much harder to trust it when the experience is subtle, still, or almost silent.

But I have been thinking lately that maybe quiet does not mean empty.

A quiet session may still be doing something important beneath the surface. It may be giving the nervous system permission to rest. It may be helping us return to ourselves in a way that is too gentle to feel dramatic. It may be working in the background, not because the practice is weak, but because the body or spirit does not always need intensity in order to receive healing.

I think sometimes we expect Reiki to prove itself to us. We want a sensation, a sign, or a clear confirmation that something happened. But maybe part of the practice is learning not to measure healing only by what feels obvious in the moment.

Stillness can be healing. Quiet can be healing. A session that feels uneventful can still be meaningful if we showed up with presence and intention.

A reflection for the community today:

Have you ever had a Reiki session that felt quiet or uneventful, but later you realized something had shifted? How do you personally handle doubt when the energy feels subtle instead of strong?

I would love to hear how others understand this part of the practice.

Share your thoughts below.

Receiving my Usui Reiki Level 2 attunement tomorrow – looking for advice from experienced practitioners

Tomorrow I'll be receiving my Usui Reiki Level 2 attunement after almost a year of working with my Reiki Master.

I trust her completely, and the work we've done together has honestly changed my life in ways I never imagined. She's an incredible practitioner, and I have no doubts about her abilities. The only thing is that she's not very talkative when it comes to explaining the theory or all the practical applications of Reiki. Her approach is more "experience it, and you'll understand." 😅

Because of that, I'm still left with a lot of questions about what Level 2 actually allows me to do and how to properly use the first two symbols.

I've been searching online, but I keep finding contradictory information. Most articles either cover all Reiki levels together or focus mainly on Level 3/Master. I'm specifically interested in Level 2 only.

One thing that really confuses me is what I can actually do after this attunement. Some practitioners say that after Level 2 you're already able to treat other people and perform distance Reiki using the first two symbols. Other sources say you shouldn't work on other people until you've completed all Usui Reiki levels.

So I'd really love to hear from people who have actually been through this stage.

What changed for you after Level 2?

How do you personally use the first two symbols?

Were you already treating other people after Level 2?

Were you practicing distance Reiki?

How did your teacher instruct you to use the symbols?

What were the limitations of Level 2, if any?

Is there anything you wish someone had explained to you before or immediately after your Level 2 attunement?

I'm not looking for textbook definitions or copy-pasted information from websites. I'd really appreciate hearing from people who practice Usui Reiki and are willing to share their personal experience and how they actually used Level 2 in real life.

Thank you so much! 🙏

First time doing reiki and was told I was a healer and should consider healing others and now I’m confused

By the title it pretty much sums up everything and I’m confused. Was that experience normal? Or was it a set up to spend more. The healer was very nice and when I walked in after talking a bit said I had healer energy and asked if considered selling services. I was confused because the most I do personally is medication and answered no. After the session which was pretty good but not as intense as I expected (only felt energy through head and throat but not very strong). She said she could see me offering services to others and it was a calling. I then asked a little about learning and she said she did lessons and gave me her number. I left feeling good about the situation but now I wonder if it was just to make money. Looking online I haven’t really seen any similar experiences mostly healers saying someone has too much trauma. I looked on her website and couldn’t find who she practiced under or what form she even practiced. I learned from this subreddit to check for what line of reiki someone practiced/ teacher after the fact. Should I find someone else? I have debated learning in the past but it feels like this person almost laid the groundwork for me to want to work with them.

Reiki Healer acting like nutritionist

i finished a session with a Reiki healer and it wasnt bad but then she stated some controlling things, like:

- dont wear black - wear light clothing

- you are what you eat - eat only healthy green and light-colored foods to stay in the light / have a higher vibration

It isnt really sitting well with me. she's also texted me asking about my diet and then provided input on sugar intake in the yogurt I like to eat and the granola she specifically eats with her yogurt.

This is not great for me and I told her I have food trauma, and dont eat meat vegetables or fruit as a result - but she has carried on like it doesnt matter

So, just wondering about this. Is this acting as a nutritionist commonplace?

I also wear a lot of black on a day to day basis.

is it common for reiki practitioners to not wear black and encourage others not to do so?

EDIT: thank you all for your responses. I will be seeing a different practitioner going forward.

Lapsed Reiki level 2/3 looking for advice on my daily practices

Hi,

Ive done reiki level 1,2 and part of the master level reiki but didnt finish it due to bad health.
So i have been attuned to the 3 classic symbols and the master one. Still i didnt finish my course due to bad health.

What should my daily practice look like if im getting back into it after a few years off ?

I have the book "reiki for life" by penelope quest which i am using as reference for what i should be practicing. The advice of reiki masters would be appreciated as i have moved location since doing all my attunements and am quite far away from those masters now geographically.

I do a daily self treatment.

Samatha calm abidding buddhist meditation.

some Taoist meridian adjustment exercises which fall under the wider umbrella of Taoist qi gong.

My meditation practice need more direction which i hope to get through the Taoist online teachers.

But for the reiki, I am very much just winging it. Not knowing what to practice beyond various techniques in the "reiki for life" book and a self treatment a day.

Sorry for the info dump, i was just trying to give you an idea of the situation i find myself in.

Thank you for reading.

Request

Hello, I have been dealing with mold toxicity for 4 years. I lived in a moldy house for few years, moved out 4 years ago, but nonstop mucus has not stopped since then. I've been to countless doctors. Nothing has worked so far. I have a surgery coming up in 2 weeks. I'm very worried about it.

If anyone is willing, Reiki to feel better in any way whether that is worry or otherwise, would be greatly appreciated.

Interested in reiki for the first time

I have been thinking about trying Reiki for energy healing for quite a few years now, I have been feeling a lot of anger (short fuse) and anxiety lately especially around trying to conceive and it taking much longer than expected (I’ve always had a deep desire to be a mother.) Several years ago, I began to have interest Buddhism and meditation, was very much a beginner at meditation and felt much more connected to the world around me, less angry and lighter. Life has since got in the way and I stopped practicing, though I still feel much more connected to the concepts than I do to any religion (even growing up Catholic.) Sound healings have been very therapeutic for me in the past, and I really believe in the benefits of it.

For a couple of years now I’ve just had a strong feeling that my energy is off in some way.. I decided that I wanted to look into finding a Reiki healer. I made a post on the local Facebook page to see if anyone could recommend local healers (I live in Florida), and of course, all of the Christians came for me saying I am opening myself up to darkness, etc. I guess my question is, is reiki recommended for somebody in my situation? Is there any truth to what they are saying, as my assumption was that the dark energy is probably something that already exists within a person and energy healing can bring up these negative thoughts and feelings. And, is there something I should be doing to protect myself before getting into a reiki session? TIA for any insight ❤️

Music?

Anyone play music while giving a reiki session? I like playing some of the selfeggio frequencies from time to time. And yes, that’s if the client is ok with sound on. What do you listen to during a session , if anything?

Reiki for my dear mother

Hello all, I am requesting reiki for my mother, who is currently in hospital. She is a strong believer in Reiki and wanted to learn it herself before she was taken ill. She is currently very ill, and the doctors and us, her family, are doing everything we can to help her. She is the matriarch of our family and the most important person to many of us.

Disclaimer that she has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and nobody is expecting a miraculous bounce back from the edge. But I just hope and wish to make her more comfortable, allow medications to be effective at targeting the correct place, and perhaps allowing her mind to clear a little.

Thank you ♥️ 🙏
