This is not a hyperbolic post. I am experiencing extreme survival challenges due to a client base that is collectively experiencing their own hardships over the past year and a half. I have been surviving on maybe 20% of what I require for over eight months now. I don't know where else to turn. I'd be so grateful for any blessings and energy and help releasing what I may or may not be aware of that is holding me back! As a daily practice, I am beyond grateful for every blessing that comes my way and every ounce of ease. And I've also never had this hard of a time getting or establishing traction. I just need so much help right now.

First time protecting my space with Cho Ku Rei and something weird happened when I did.

I verbally said Cho Ku Reí and traced the symbol on all four walls, ceiling and floor of my bedroom (alongside rest of my home) alongside intention to cleanse and protect.
That night I experienced sleep paralysis and a frightening negative presence that I felt I had to fight off plus asked my guides and angels for help. Eventually it went away thankfully.

I smudged the next day and it has been good since, but found it odd that would happen after “Cho Ku Rei-ing” my bedroom.

I know I traced it correctly.. and I rarely get sleep paralysis, so I don’t believe it was a coincidence but rather that somehow something I did (or didn’t do) attracted a negative energy/entity or amplified something existing?

Now I’m afraid to use this symbol for clearing/ protection.. Any insights or advice greatly appreciated!

I sometimes feel extremely heavy energy after meeting certain people or entering crowded places. Reiki, grounding, salt baths, and intention setting help me a lot — but I’d love to know are there any other effective techniques to remove heavy and black energy and what techniques actually worked for you guys?

My cat recently had operation for bladder obstruction, and he is still lethargic, weak, and doesn't urinate. Vet says he might die if he doesn't start urinating. He is still young. Pls help

Mental health is very difficult as I never told my master teacher because during a period of 2023 I was told I had no schizophrenia but something else not as bad, so I got attuned to the reiki system as I felt i aligned with it. I’m in a mental health rehab unit currently due to being messed around with diagnosis and I’m back with a schizophrenia diagnosis which I feel a small conflict. I feel that daily Reiki practice helps keep me well and I take antipsychotic medication to manage symptoms because things got so bad that I’d rather not live it again. I’m currently well and the Reiki system has been very helpful especially since my grandmother passed away last Sunday and Iv been supporting my mother who lost one of the most important people. I genuinely feel I am empowered by Reiki yet as someone diagnosed with a condition with hallucinations and delusions that I currently don’t experience (thankfully) I worry about my perceived mental capacity to go even further despite sensibly keeping myself well despite the struggles of life, schizophrenia and looking after a strong woman who is my mother. I belong to the reiki system, I feel strongly and intuitively about it being right for myself as iv shown my strength of character and my ability to stay calm and grounded. I’m a male first degree known as Ashley and would like some reconciliation between mental health struggles and the reiki system if anyone has experience with this. I don’t mind people mentioning personal experiences with mental health and how Reiki has affected or even helped them. I would like to reconcile this personal issue that a medical professional may struggle with. As a side note Reiki has helped me let go off paranoia and keeping myself isolated. I know it’s made me a better person and I’m very grateful for this gift and I have no regrets being attuned as I plan to continue my training to second degree later this year if all things go well

I am an equine professional and reiki master and also teach a Reiki course for horse own and other pros. Every time i try to pivot I get pulled back toward Reiki im pretty confident its something im meant to do on my life path. I would really love to market myself better as the reason i pivot its due to a lack of interest of my offerings (sessions for horses, ofr their humans, and my virtual teachings). I am just emotionally battling with it, if i could do it every single day i would but sadly it doesnt pay the bills , but thats where id like to end up. Teaching and doing Reiki/energy work predominately. Any advice?

I recently became very infatuated with crystals. As I continue to learn about them, I’m noticing so much of the information refers to chakras in which I do not know much about at all!

I am spiritually searching and open to new experiences. Should I tryout reiki ? What other types of spiritual practices incorporate crystal healing that you know of?

I just had a reiki session done to me, I’ve had it done many times before but only a few longer sessions. I just had an attunement a few weeks ago and, in the past, I was always cognitively present, but this session, I had a few instances where my mind went elsewhere. It didn’t quite feel like I fell asleep or went to that state between asleep and awake, though it was similar. It was like I was still awake but my mind went to another place and experienced some things. Whenever I returned back to my body on the table, I couldn’t remember what I experienced, just that I experienced something even if it were a dream, although I usually remember my dreams at least when I first return to present awareness. I do remember hearing the name Ava (I don’t know an Ava).
Wondering if anyone has any thoughts/insights on this? Thanks!

This one is for the givers in this community. And if you have found your way to Reiki, there is a good chance that includes you.

Many of us came to energy healing with a natural orientation toward caring for others. We are drawn to holding space, to offering comfort, to being the steady presence that the people around us lean on. And Reiki gave us a beautiful and intentional way to channel that impulse.

But here is something worth sitting with today.

Giving without receiving is not sustainable. And for many practitioners, it is one of the quietest and most persistent patterns that Reiki eventually asks us to look at.

It can show up in small ways. Offering sessions to everyone around you while skipping your own self-practice. Being deeply attuned to the energy needs of others while dismissing or minimising your own. Feeling somehow selfish for wanting rest, replenishment, or care directed inward.

Reiki does not make this distinction. The same universal life force energy that flows through your hands to another person is available to you. Fully. Without condition. You do not have to earn it, and you do not have to finish giving to everyone else before you are allowed to turn it toward yourself.

In fact, the more consistently you receive, the more you have to give. This is not a metaphor. It is energetic reality.

✨ A gentle invitation for this week:

Set aside one self-Reiki session this week where the only intention is to receive. Not to work through anything, not to clear or balance or heal. Simply to receive whatever the energy wants to offer you.

I often think someone who hates me or wants to betray me, etc. actually likes me. And when I meet someone who really likes me I think it’s a trick and that they want to hurt me.

Basically, I get it wrong.

Obviously there are psychological factors here, but still, I wish I could just feel their intentions without having to think it through or guess —-

I am an Usui reiki practitioner but I just feel like I would like to relax completely and receive some reiki from someone else for a change.

I'm calling in a lot, keeping busy with work and health flare ups, and have been feeling like someone else added to my routine may be just the medicine I need.

One of the most quietly powerful aspects of Reiki is that it knows no distance. Through the Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen symbol and the simple act of intentional focus, we can hold space for healing across time, distance, and circumstance.
And when a community does that together, something shifts.

I was very recently attuned to advanced practitioner and put an intention to my guides if there were any messages I was here to receive while offering myself Reiki with crystals (if that matters). Immediately I felt a powerful “bubble” move throughout my body like a swoosh. Can someone help me out and explain what happened? In all my years I never experienced this before.

Many of my irl system friends have physical/health differences between their headmates. For example, one headmate is allergic to peanuts while the others aren’t, so as long as the person with the allergy isn’t fronting, the body won’t have a reaction. I’ve also heard eyesight is a common difference, or things like diabetes even, and that’s really interesting.

Another thing that didn’t surprise me but others might find interesting. I’m a Reiki Master and I have my own practice. Reiki is a Japanese system of energy healing, so I work with the body’s energy system (chakras and meridians). Before and after each Reiki session, I will assess the body’s chakras by feeling them with my hands and using a pendulum. The pendulum essentially picks up on the electromagnetic spin of the chakras and makes them easier to assess whether they are balanced or not. I’ve noticed anytime I work on plurals, things get interesting lol. I’ll be holding the pendulum above one of their chakras, and it will behave one way one moment, then completely differently the next, which doesn’t happen with singlets. It looks as though a magnet suddenly pulls it in a different direction or it suddenly spins the opposite direction. The first time this happened, I had a hunch of what was going on and I asked my client “Is someone else close to front?” It turned out someone else was kind of lurking close to front because they had never experienced Reiki before and were curious, and naturally, that headmate had a completely different energy field. That was basically confirmation to me that the energy field of the body changes depending on who is fronting at the moment. It makes sense to someone in my line of work, since consciousness is primary and everything including the physical body follows that.

Has anyone else had experiences like this? How have physical or energetic differences between headmates shown up in your lives?

I am dealing with daily pain and pressure issues, very intense on the left side of my body and i have started doing the white light protection method since 3-4 days, it helped at first but today i got so scared and so drained by the process, i could feel an intense black dark heavy energy on the left side of my heart shoulder neck and head area, i don’t have the energy/expertise required to deal with this, it scared me, i know i shouldn’t be scared but it was scary. And now i have hangover pain in my whole left side from head to pelvic area, whatever is happening is really intense and i feel like crying whole day but even that wouldn’t help.

Please help, anything i can do on my own or anyone who can help me.
