1993 C900 Turbo (manual) RHD suddenly lost 5th while driving and then started struggling to select 3rd without rev matching. I stopped, put it into reverse so I could remove the key, and when I went to drive again, reverse was completely gone along with the other gears behaving strangely. The gear lever became extremely floppy with almost no 3rd/4th centring. And the gear changes didn’t seem like the stick was actually engaging, it just felt strange, I could seemingly select 1st–4th, but I’m not convinced the lever positions corresponded to the actual gears. When I thought I had it in neutral with the clutch up, turning the key made the car lurch/stall, so it clearly wasn’t actually in neutral. I was stuck on double yellows so had to move the car, changing gears did noting to the revs, maybe stuck in 3rd, I’m not sure. The car has now been recovered. Any ideas where I should start looking? Any common issues like this anyone knows about?

Factory Saab whale tale been sitting for 13 years so all things considered the tail is in great shape, any techniques or products I should consider to fix the cracks?

I’m doing the vacuum lines on my 1993 Saab 900 turbo s RHD, as they all crumbled and turned to dust, but according to a diagram I’m using it has a 1 way valve on this line? Mine didn’t have it,

Hello, following on from my last post I’m putting my Saab 900 back together and I didn’t take it apart, I’m tackling turbo and inter cooler hoses does everything look right? Particularly the two hoses that go into the air filter tube, from the solenoid and intake?

(And yes I should have put the clutch cover back on first in the proses of removing it all to do that)

I’ve been working on my project 1989 Saab 900 turbo RHD recently, I took out the old radiator, then found the fan was dead, between waiting for the new fan and extreme weather here in the UK, it’s been a while since I removed it, now I can’t remember where all the hoses go, the main issue is this small fitting in the corner (circled in green) anyone know what goes in here and where it’s gone? I only detached hoses from the rad itself, and any help on if my other horses are correct would be much appreciated,

The light selector switch on my RHD 1989 900 turbo, has become detached, and is falling into the dash, is there a trick to re attach it without taking out the entire dash? Also is it meant to be glued down once functional?
