Normal Parallax or Defect?
Parallax comparison: https://imgur.com/a/k3XkFqK
I've always been a bit disappointed with the parallax, especially vertically, in my EPS Carry 6moa Green. It's definitely worse than my 407k was. I thought maybe it was just the best that could be done with a small enclosed optic, but I recently got an off-brand enclosed RMSc dot (Fortic EP1 6moa red) and its parallax is barely perceptible at 25 yards.
This video doesn't do justice to the clarity of either dot, but this should be enough to observe the relative parallax as seen at 25 yards with pistol completely stationary and camera moving to look through different portions of lens. Target is printed on 8.5×11 paper and there is a solid 4" (at 25 yards) of dot movement relative to target depending on eye position. Sorry, I know it's a little hard to pick out the red dot of the Fortic against the orange bullseye.
I've been trying to really dial in the precision of my pistol and I feel this is holding me back despite trying to keep the dot toward the middle.
Is this just the best Holosun can do on the EPS Carry; or does it look like I have a defective unit?
