Replacing pet urine floorboards saga

I am posting for my parents. They bought a home late last year. Some of the flooring had water damage, though it later on was found to be repeated pet urine.

My parents arranged someone to remove and replace these boards, and then sand the floors. Though, after removing some, it was determined they could not order the right size boards and those originally used were discounted stock. The owner also didn't nail them in, just glued. The building inspector didn't pick up on a lot of dodgy work.

My parents suggested removing boards from another room, which they will replace with carpet. Though, they came home to the attached photos... They are upset and unsure what to do, as the flooring has gaps, is uneven, and not level. Will this be fixed? Or should they just get new flooring all together?

Edit: I haven't seen the floor, just the photos, my mum did work in flooring sales, but she is only familiar with hybrid, floating, etc

Edit two: the boards that have been used to replace the damaged boards have already been sanded down, then the issue with the replacement boards was identified. So the concern is also if they need to re-sand them, will they be too thin? They were originally 12mm.

Lacy on Danny & Nia

So, Lacy can repost about men's violence and have a podcast about women's trauma, but when it is about Jasmine's (WOC and queer woman) experience, Danny doesn't have a problem?

Make this compute?!

Weight loss on Gabapentin tips

Hi everyone

I have been on Gabapentin for a couple of years now. I have rheumatoid arthritis, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and bipolar 2. While taking this I have gained 16kg (65-81kg), though I also couldn't walk during this time. If has also really helped my mood, when no other medication has been effective.

I am going to try to come down from my current dose of 1000mg at night, though I need to start losing weight. I have fatty liver from weight gain and other medications (I take around 15 for all my conditions).

How have you been successful losing weight on this drug? I can't take a GLP-1, I have gastroparesis and I had a bowel obstruction in December. Some exercise is possible now, though I cannot run etc, mainly walking.

Thank you in advance.

Edit: I forgot to mention, I am currently eating up to 1400 calories a day, but I am so hungry from the meds. I have dieted before... But it never felt like this!
