How do I make my line art have better shapes. Make it less boring and flat?

I like the pose and dress and all, but it looks so.. flat. You know?

I don't know if it's just because it's my own artstyle and someone else might find it 100x better, but I just don't think the shapes and lines are "clear" enough.

Like the shape of the dress is THERE. It's just no CLEAR enough.

Y'all ever just quit an artwork because the rough sketch is... too rough? How do I get around it?

Like, I start sketching, and then just delete it because the sketch looks too 'messy'.

I know rough sketches are supposed to be 'messy' for the first time. That's how drawing works. But I just don't like the way my first rough sketch looks. Like I've never drawn anything before!

I start with a circle for the head, you know?. But it just goes downhill from there. I have to get lucky in order to get something I like the look of.

So how to get around it? Is there a technique that can help?

Posting attacks on social media?

Hii, quick question. Is it generally okay to post attacks that I've made on social media? (With the right credit to the original OC creator of course!). I never find anything about social media in character permissions. So I'm still not 100% sure.

But it should be fine right? They're posting their OC to Art Fight, where the whole reason for the site being that you want someone else to draw your OC. Which basically means that it's an art request. Not a commission.

Half a year of art progress! I'm super proud and still can't believe it.

Using pose references has improved my art a TON. and watching coloring/shading videos has also seen a very noticeable improvement.

Yes, hiding hands cliché was accidental.

Poses all come from Posemaniacs or a 3d model poser website.

I don't draw THAT much yet. But I plan to.
