This may change how i smoke cigars.....

So normally im a cigar and a nice glass of whiskey type of guy.

Never been big into rum at all (mostly had cheap stuff in mixed drinks). My buddy gifted me a top shelf bottle and said "dude try this with a dark cigar" so i decided to light up one of my favorites, padron 1926 maduro. Guys.... Why does this work so well?? The sweetness and spices paired with the rich cigar smoke.... Works so much better than i thought. It COMBINES more with the flavor of the cigar much more than most of the high proof whiskeys i drink. Im not saying this will replace whiskey with my cigars but if I'm craving something a little sweet im definitely grabbing this bottle instead of a infused/flavored cigar.

Moral of the story, listen to your buddies when they try to convince you to try some weird combos.

2023 Rare Pink i revived paired with bardstown discovery series

About half a year ago i found a 2023 cra freedom sampler pack with a very dried up bodeva pack hidden away at my local specs liquor store. All the cigars looked healthy but dry. I revived them over the course of half a year and so far they've all smoked beautifully.

I ran out of clean whiskey glasses so im using a beer sampler glass haha

This month is the 1 year anniversary to when i fully committed my company to be my main source of income a few months after turning 25. Lived off ramen for a month, 11 months later here we are.

Still have the opus and the bull i have to find a good time to smoke this month, the rest I'll smoke when there's time, or give a few to customers and buddies who have supported me through the year.

Also yes i know the label on the whiskey is stained. Thats my fault.
