Hello. Am I understanding correctly, the only way to get snipers in your gaurd army is to have a unit of Red Rider armed Hobbits? I know, I know...its only a game and I have to suspended all & any expectations of reality but snipers don't act in large groups in warfare. The 40k concept is what comes to mind would be units of smoothbore muskets (lasgun troops) with a small company of rifle armed men (snipers). I just have a problem wrapping my head around this concept for ultra modern troops...

I'm just getting over yhe fact I can't split heavy weapons teams and they need to be taken as essentially "batteries"...
