I have a 1990 245; how can I tell if it has an M46 or M47 transmission? I’ve heard that the fifth gear on the M47 can run low on oil. I’ve noticed that when I shift into fifth, it makes a lot of noise—not a bad sound, just loud and different from the other four gears; you can hear it a bit in the video. Also, the gear shift lever gets very hot to the touch (not burning hot, but like it’s been sitting in the sun). Finally, there’s sometimes a hot smell, like a burning clutch.
Is all of this connected, and could it be fixed by changing the transmission fluid and overfilling the gearbox?
Is my gearbox cooked chat ? I’ve just connected the dot recently and I’m kinda scared

I can’t open my door from the inside, the handle can be pulled normaly but it doesn’t have enough travel like the outside one. Any idea ?

I know that’s a known issue. My blower was making funny noises (video) for ~10-15 seconds and then worked well but now it just doesn’t work at all. Do you think that I can save it or do I have to change it all ?
