What is eating my sunflowers?
What is eating my sunflowers?!
My procuts are getting demolished. I have a fence so it can't be the largest rabbits, possibly babies, i suppose, but can they eat tall plants?! I don't think it's deer because there are no tracks. Both my seedlings and my larger plants (6 weeks growing) are getting destroyed.
(I've removed a bunch of the destroyed plants, i had so many more. This is what was left when I checked today.)
I gave up direct sowing and have been transplanting larger seedlings due to animals eating them last year. But I did not anticipate the devastation done to my largest plants.
What is doing this and any tips on stopping them?! I am so crushed. My growing season is so short and the destruction is so complete, it feels pointless to replant.
