Just wondering if anyone has tips or suggestions for brushing? Right now I'm just using a slicker brush a few times a week to brush her out. She tolerates fairly well but also whines and sometimes lightly growls so I think it hurts her a little. Are there any other tools I could use?

She is my first giant schnauzer and she has such a nice temperament... Knows when to play and be calm, very smart, generally healthy. I'm surprised you don't hear more about this breed. I will say she is a little aloof with strangers but overall is just so awesome.

I have a 1 year old female, just curious as to when everyone's pup stopped growing.
