Why do younger generations think boomers can magically retire at the age of 65?

I see this all the time, but it's just mean-spirited fantasy. Yes, it's possible to take an early Social Security benefit when you're as young as 62, but it will be reduced.

67 is the age of retirement for a full benefit, and the average monthly benefit is just $1,940.

This is why you see so many old people bagging and stocking groceries and doing other menial jobs.

Here's the actual life seniors are living:

The Nationwide Social Security Survey Found That 56% of Americans Can’t Afford to Miss Even Half a Payment, Are You One of Them?

The 1% are the problem, not the average 70-year-old.

Guitar store or local seller in Lamai?

I'm going to be visiting Lamai in Koh Sumui for a couple of weeks, and I would love to find an acoustic guitar. Any ideas...?

November weather over recent years?

I'm thinking about a November Phuket visit, and I have researched the historical weather pattens, but they can't convey the way it really is on the ground. Any insight anyone can share would be appreciated.
