XR 52 MTE spacer/shim question.

I pulled my motor apart and found an existing shim/spacer in the stack. I also have this separate shim shown in the photo.

For an XR with a 52mm MTE setup:
• Do I install this shim and remove the existing one?
• Remove both completely?
• Or run both together?
