Red irritated flaky skin under facial hair and face
I've been dealing with redness and flakes mostly under my mustache and chin, but recently it spread to my cheek line only under my beard. I trimmed my beard hoping that would help but it has only exposed the redness. I also have flakes under my eyebrows and scalp sometimes. I have tried the clindamycin phosphate gel that i got a year ago but it seems to not work for my condition. anytime i shower and try to wash my face that seems to only aggravate it more. the flakes are sometimes followed by a clearish ooze after i clean them away, as if its partially scabby. the only time it seems to get better is if i don't shower or wash for a day or more, but that's not a long term option obviously. i believe it might be fungal, if anyone knows of any beard/face/hair wash that has helped with this?
