Call of the Wild - Conclusion After 6 Months of Playing

I’ve been playing the game since the first week of January 2026. I’ve played exclusively in Hirschfelden and Layton Lake, with about 80 percent of my playtime spent in Hirschfelden. According to Steam statistics, I’ve played 650 hours. No multiplayer games.

As of today, I have 7,110 kills, including 19 diamonds. No Great Ones. I’ve uploaded photos of the diamonds. (1 Wisent is missing)

I don’t grind. In Hirschfelden, I have just 8 feeding spots that I visit regularly, where I specifically hunt red deer and fallow deer. I’ve completed all the missions in Hirschfelden. In Layton Lake, I’m well on my way. In addition to the missions, I regularly try to complete the daily and weekly tasks. I hunt regularly both during the day and at night. Of course, I take advantage of drinking and feeding times to specifically hunt certain animal species. I play daily whenever possible, and even after 6 months, I’m still highly motivated and enjoying the gaming experience. I’d be interested in seeing the statistics of players who have a comparable amount of playtime and who also don’t engage in herd management or targeted “Great One” grinding.
