GYRO for new Australian artist

I am really struggling to decide on a distributor for my music. I am looking into GYRO, and while word of mouth seems good they have some recent negative reviews and I don't like the idea of an 8% commission. I was hoping someone could shed some light on their experiences with them. I like the idea of a localised distributor, but at the same time, I think Symphonic might be a safer bet. Thanks in advance.

Is it recommended to generate your own UPC?

From the research I've done, it's clear to me that you should generate your own ISRC when releasing a song so that it is not tied to the publisher and you can move it around more freely. Is that also the case for the UPC? Or is it fine to have the distributor do that?

Right now I am leaning towards Ditto or Symphonic... are those good choices? (Even though in the world of Music Distributing it seems a good choice doesn't exist). Thank you in advance!

How would you design a James Bond trilogy?

This is mainly just a thought exercise I'm interested to see what people's thoughts are.

The rules are like this:

- The next James Bond is going to be a fresh start, and a trilogy of movies.

- The goal is to create an overarching narrative, with character development from Bond as well as an overarching villain and so forth.

- Think like how all the Star Wars or Dune movies are just smaller chapters in greater narratives.

- You are encouraged to do this by adapting the novels, but you can really do what you like.

I know a lot of people might not be a fan of taking this approach. This isn't me even suggesting it as one, I'm just curious what peoples ideas are for this. Adapting James Bond in such a way that there is an overarching, purposeful and faithful narrative. I know that's kind of contrary to the entire concept of bond in the first place, but again, this is just a fun exercise.

So what would you do?
