"welfare check"

If you called OHPD last night for a "welfare check" on someone at the decommissioned bus stop by haggen along hwy 20, I'd like to sincerely say I hope you break your pinky toe and/or foot on a metal table leg and it never heals.

Where do you expect the homeless to go? I'm kicked out of the haven until next June for asking a question, so where would you like me to go? Oak harbor is my home, I'll be fucked if I leave because some sissy lala's can't handle seeing someone down on their luck. I don't do drugs (aside from weed, been sober off the hard shit (meth, coke) for 4 years, come October) I don't make a mess. I don't make a huge scene screaming at the top of my lungs. I go to the bus stop, I take my dab (YES, in public, cause where tf else should I go?) and I go to sleep. That's it. I'm ok, I'm breathing, maybe next time take a second and see if you can see breaths being taken before wasting resources that could be better used, idk, going after the several meth labs we have in city limits? Or tweakers making huge messes being nuisances? Or catching speeders that constantly race along that stretch of hwy 20. Something a little more useful than telling somebody with nowhere to go that they can't sleep under a defunct, out-of-service bus shelter.

Cops are fucking useless, and especially if you work for OHPD, you obviously have nothing better to do. Maybe go to therapy to deal with your feelings from being bullied in high school like the fucking losers you are.

I should say, this is my first time in just over a month of being legitimately on the streets, that I've been met by the cops. I've slept at that bus stop several times before. Get fucked.

PSA:

If you get upset at somebody for calling out a pedophile in an area where there's kids, somebody should check your hard drive. Honestly. Why would you get upset at somebody making the community aware that there is a predator in the area, if you, yourself, are not one? Right?

Food assistance?

Hello all, and happy Monday!

I come asking for help, I've tried looking for work since I've been in town since December, and despite everybody seemingly having signs up and hosting interviews, (I've had 2 in this time, both at the same place), it would seem as if nobody is actually hiring. So. While I get my disability case off the ground (fingers crossed; I have CPTSD, depression, type 2 diabetes, anxiety and BPD, all of which are considered disabilities) I am finding myself in need of assistance with food. I am unable to get to food banks, as I walk everywhere, don't have many friends in town that can give me rides, can't afford the bus, as I dont have income, so I'm coming here to ask if anybody has any food/money they can spare.

I get times are tough for a lot of us but food is one of those things that's not only essential to survival but is a human right. Nobody deserves to go hungry. I'm willing to take anything anybody has they're not going to use, for the next couple weeks until I move back to oak harbor and everything is super easy to get to. Marysville/Arlington is just so spread out and food banks are scattered about, not in walking distance from me, or id be utilizing them, trust me. So if anybody has any extra food or money they'd be willing to help out with, please don't hesitate to reach out.

I may be diabetic but I still eat stuff that's not the best for me, for the sake of survival, i.e., bread, pasta, stuff like that, so I'm not too worried about it being good for diabetics as long as it's food.

If you're so kind to be willing to help out with money, I can give you my Facebook pay, or my cashapp (also in my social links on my page here), and just know I've been clean and sober from hard drugs since 2022 and I DO NOT drink, so your money IS NOT going to drugs or alcohol, but truly into my stomach, as I know a lot of people are, understandably, worried about stuff like that.

Basically I'm mainly asking for any kind of donation you'd normally give a food bank, but on a little smaller of a scale just for one person. Like instead of giving 15 boxes of spaghetti to the food bank, throw me a couple and still donate the other 13 kinda thing, ya know?

If this kind of post isn't allowed here, I will copy and paste to any subreddit anybody suggests would be a better subreddit. I'm relatively new to reddit, so I'm not entirely familiar with it or the way subreddits work, so please excuse my post if it's not allowed.

Thank you for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful week!

Flokkk cameras at the entrance of tractor supply/Bank of America off 172nd that I noticed on my walk to Safeway this morning. If I didn't have my hands full and they weren't 15 feet up, they'd have been torn the fuck down. FUCK ICE and FUCK Flokkk.

Edit to add: I walk this route pretty regularly, I'd say at least once a week, and these are BRAND new, so that's why I took a picture and documented them.

Stay safe out there. CHINGA LA MIGRA
