We go down memory lane to the first soul-trapping event between the Zhang and Li families, initiated by the older sect master.
The grandmaster informs Chengming that since the Zhang family found out that Li Ling was saved, they have hired the Salt Gang to handle the Tianxiang Sect.
He says Chengming must find Li Ling and kill her, and the matter will be settled. He says that CM should choose between Li Ling and Feiyan. Of course, he chooses our his girl, Jiang Feiyan.
The Plot Twist!
- Aunty Yingjuan says that Shangguan Hong sent her to Chengming, and that's why she approached him in the first place.
- Chengming says the letter was written by the grandmaster because Hong died 8 years ago.
We go down memory lane to 30 years ago, when Shangguan Hong and the sect master were completing a soul-trapping ritual.
- Hong seemed reluctant; it also seems she was pregnant by this time.
- She saves Li Yingjuan from the ritual.
Back to the present day:
- 2nd Batou and Jiang Feiyan are locked up in a cage, and the Salt Gang has really messed him up.
- After Jiang Feiyan manages to get rid of the Salt Gang, 2nd Batou asks if she really set Li Ling free and if Chengming was involved.
You can't expect someone to love you because you have helped them alot, that's not love.
- Chengming decides to play the 6th Batou and Grandmaster at their game.
- He gets Li Ling made up to look like a zombie, and they go back to the Zhang residence, where she plays a very believable role, and the Zhangs ask Chengming to take her back.
- Later, he goes back to get Feiyan, but 2nd Batou starts fighting him.
- Chengming and Feiyan manage to convince the 2nd Batou that the enemy is 6th Batou, and he stops his attack.
Thoughts?
- I was screaming let's go! at the end.
- I loved this episode because now we are getting some proper action within the sect.
- One thing I know is that the 4th Batou and his Wife hated doing bad things and would blindly pick Chengming and Feiyan's side, and now they have the 2nd Batou as well(It's still shaky, but in a takedown, I think our odds are pretty good lol if we include ZD). I'm just not sure what team 3rd and 7th Batou would play for, but the one with the highest odds of winning, because they love their lives.
- Look at me, I'm already planning a wrestling match, haha, but I really enjoyed this episode.
