Arrested and leaving cars in business lots.

I work in a certain retail store, on more than one occasion an officer will pull someone over in the store's parking lot. Most of the time they let the person go. But there have been times when the driver is arrested and the vehicle is just left in the lot. Is there a reason why the store manager is never informed of what happened? Is it a privacy or confidentiality matter of the person who was arrested? It can cause confusion when there is a vehicle in the lot but no customer in the store. We are not supposed to have cars there over night. We had an issue once where the vehicle was in the way of a delivery truck. It would just be nice to be notified. "Yeah, we had to arrest dipshit But he says he will have his brother pick his car up."

Columbo, "Just One More Thing." shoppers

They either throw their items on the belt and run off for "Just One More Thing"

Many times I had just totaled them up when they grab an impulse item. "Just One More Thing" Hit Total again, another item is added. "Just One More Thing"

One customer I rang out 3 times in a row because they kept finding "Just One More Thing"

Welcome to the Price is Right, Dollar Tree Edition Here is our first customer of the day. I ring up her items.

"That comes to $34.51 please"

She swipes her card, Sad trombone sound plays "Sorry, you went over"

She tells me to remove 2 items, we try again.

She swipes her card, Sad trombone sound plays "Sorry, you went over"

3 items are removed.

She swipes her card, Sad trombone sound plays "Sorry, you went over"

more items come off

The victory music plays, it was accepted. Now I get to do a bunch of returns. And also have a ton of item voids.
