2009 Cobalt 2.2 new clutch and flywheel new slave. Bleeding air issues, accidentally let master cylinder drain out
Putting clutch in with new flywheel new sleeve accidentally let the master cylinder drain all the way out. I've been trying to purge and Purge and I still can't get the clutch to engage all the way. It does with the engine off, but it's still spongy. Are there any tricks I tried running a hose from the bleeder into a jar with like a brake bleeding tool I even ran a hose up to the master cylinder and just forced tons of fluid through it. Am I wrong in thinking that maybe I need another person in this process? And just open the bleed nipple intermittently while they're pushing the pedal instead of going for a volume maybe I need to get a second person to help me open it intermittently? Is there any tips or tricks? It's starting to get better and it is engaging a little bit but not quite I'm not sure if I should replace the masterr cylinder since I did the slave with the clutch and fly wheel? Excuse my ignorance I did not know if there's a forum where this is already a question that's asked frequently.
